Rev. Jacob Benson
Pastor Benson was installed at St. John's on March 14th, 2021. A native of Worland, he is excited to be back in the Big Horn Basin after his studies at Concordia Theological Seminary led him to Vicar in Baltimore, MD and Philadelphia, PA, and his first parish in Orange, CT. Pastor is married to Mary, they are expecting their first child in October, 2021.
Ralph has been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church for may years. During his time as a member he has served as head usher, trustee, and president. Ralph, along with his wife Deb, help with St. John's After-School Academy and Altar Guild. Ralph says it is a joy to work with St. John's.
Dylan is a lifelong member of St. John's. After attending St. Andrew's in Laramie while studying at the University of Wyoming, Dylan returned to Lovell. He is currently in his third year of teaching math at Lovell High School. He and his fiancé, Emma, plan to marry in July of 2022.
Richard has been a member of St. John's for nearly 73 years. He's been involved in the Lovell community his entire life, and now enjoys retirement with his wife, Janice. Alongside his service as Congregational President, Richard is Commander of the American Legion Post 11, and coordinates the USDA Commodities Program for the church.
Congregational Vice President
Both Jennifer and Mark (husband of 30 years) have been members of St. John's their entire life. Their daughter, Jessica, travels the world showing God's love to all she meets. Jennifer runs a private daycare and loves children. Apart from Trustee work, Jennifer is very involved in our congregation's youth programs.
